• Affinity's precedents go back to 1963, year in which Gallina Blanca Purina is born as a Joint Venture at 50% between Agrolimen and the North American society Ralston Purina Company.
  
• In 2002 the internationalization begins, with the acquisition by Agrolimen of the totality of Gallina Blanca Purina (as a result of the worldwide takeover of Ralston Purina by Nestlé), together with other businesses and brands in Italy and Greece.
  • In July 2002, as the result of Mars purchasing Royal Canin, Agrolimen acquires the businesses and brands that Mars must leave in France and North Europe.
    
  • At the end of 2002, Gallina Blanca Purina S.A. changes its corporate name for Affinity Petcare S.A.
• In 2009, Affinity Petcare has a turnover of more than 200 million euro, being also the third pet foods company in Europe in the dry nutrition sector.
